Connoisseur Concerts will present musical performances of world-class quality
utilizing local and visiting artists. Every effort will be made to educate
and heighten community appreciation of classical music and music history. |

The organization's programs
focus primarily on two of the world's greatest and most loved composers, J.S.
Bach and W. A. Mozart, along with music of their contemporaries.
The annual Northwest Bach Festival is held in Spokane
at landmark venues each January and February.
Boston-based Gunther Schuller,
a world-renowned conductor, composer, author and music educator has led the
Bach Festival as Artistic Director since 1993.
In addition to the public concerts, a series of educational and outreach
activities are scheduled, free of charge and open to the general public.
Each July outdoor concerts
called Mozart On A
Summer's Eve are held in Spokane's
beautiful Manito Park.
Verne Windham, Music and Arts
Director of KPBX Public Radio and a prize-winning professional musician, has
served as Artistic Director since 1993.
